A 12-minute video of the research and innovation project INOVER 21, implemented by the Lithuanian company Ortho Baltic, appeared on YouTube. The video presents the advantages of patient-specific implants versus standard off shelf implants and the main results of the INOVER 21 project:
- 3D pre-operational planning web platform MICE (Medical Implants Customization Engine), and
- Factory floor management system MC Dynamics (Mass Customization Dynamics) for the real time planning and management of digital in nature patient-specific implants supply chain.
This project has received over one and half million euro funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No. 768197.

The main face of the video – Prof., Dr Julian Poukens, cranio-maxillofacial surgeon at the Medical Center Sittard / Heerlen in the Netherland, a lecturer and researcher at the Biomed Research Institute of the University of Hasselt and the University of Leuven in Belgium.
